Session Description

Engagement is more than preparing for a wedding. It is an invitation to pay attention—to the story you are already writing together, the hopes you carry into marriage, and the places where you still have room to grow. Hill and Holler Formation’s six-session pre-engagement counseling experience offers couples a thoughtful, faith-centered space to explore the foundations of a lasting marriage. Through guided conversation, reflection, prayer, and practical tools, couples are invited to move beyond simply asking “Are we ready to get married?” and begin asking deeper questions: How do we love? How do we listen? How do we handle what is hard? What are we building together? The goal isn't to create a perfect relationship—or to hand you a checklist for marriage. It is to help you become more attentive to one another and more honest about the life you are choosing together.
